What is Perfect Amino?
Perfect Amino Tablets are manufactured in a cGMP certified facility for BodyHealth.com, LLC, a US company. BodyHealth describes the product as essential amino acids in a specific ratio, and it adds nucleic acid building blocks (nucleosides and nucleotides) to the formula.

What is Recov?
Recov is an Australian brand, sold since 2010 and made to EU manufacturing standards. It has one protein source: porcine plasma protein, pre-digested into di- and tri-peptides and pressed into tablets.
That makes Recov a complete protein with all 20 amino acids. Every amino acid on the panel is listed individually in milligrams on the ingredients page, along with 4.46 mg of naturally occurring iron per four-tablet serve. The only other ingredients are two tableting aids, magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide. There are no sweeteners, flavours or colours.
Because the protein is already broken down, it crosses the gut wall through PEPT1, the transporter built for peptides of that size. Our stated time to the bloodstream is 15–25 minutes. What's the difference between essential amino acids and a complete protein?
Your body builds its proteins from 20 amino acids. It can't make the essential ones, so they must come from your diet. It can make the rest, the non-essential amino acids, as long as it has enough raw material.
An EAA product like Perfect Amino supplies the essential group only. A complete protein like Recov supplies all 20 together, essential and non-essential, the way protein arrives in food.
