Protein for people who feel bloated after shakes

If whey shakes leave you feeling heavy or bloated, Recov is a different kind of protein. It is dairy-free and lactose-free, has no sweeteners or flavours, and comes as tablets you swallow with water, so there is no big glass of liquid to get down. It arrives already broken down into di- and tri-peptides, the small pieces your gut takes up directly.

Your whole bloodstream carries only 2–3g of amino acids at any moment. Six tablets of Recov deliver roughly that entire amount, already broken down into small peptides your body absorbs directly.

Common questions

Why do protein shakes bloat some people?

The usual suspects are lactose in whey concentrate, sweeteners such as sugar alcohols, added fibres such as inulin, and drinking a large volume quickly. Our guide to protein for a sensitive stomach walks through each one.

Is Recov dairy-free?

Yes. Recov is free of dairy, lactose, soy, wheat and gluten. Recov is made from porcine (pig) plasma protein, so it isn't suitable for vegans or vegetarians, for halal or kosher diets, or for anyone with a mammalian meat allergy.

Is it still a complete protein?

Yes. Recov carries all 20 amino acids, and its amino acid panel is printed on the label in milligrams.

How much do I take?

Follow the dosing chart on the product page: 6 tablets a day for everyday health, 8–12 a day on training days, and 12–18 a day for performance and recovery. Take them together or split them across the day.

What if it isn't right for me?

Your first order is covered by our money-back guarantee: 90 days from delivery on 3- and 6-bottle plans, and 30 days on 1- and 2-bottle plans and one-time orders, when you take Recov as directed for at least 21 days. Full terms are in our Refund Policy.
