Protein for men over 40

If you're over 40 and training, Recov is a complete protein you can take with water, anywhere. It carries all 20 amino acids, arrives already broken down into di- and tri-peptides, and comes as tablets, so there is no shaker, no powder and no dairy.

Your whole bloodstream carries only 2–3g of amino acids at any moment. Six tablets of Recov deliver roughly that entire amount, already broken down into small peptides your body absorbs directly.

Common questions

How much protein do men over 40 who train need?

The International Society of Sports Nutrition recommends 1.4–2.0 g of protein per kilogram of body weight a day for most people who exercise, spread across the day. Recov helps fill the gaps between meals.

Why tablets instead of a shake?

Because they fit the day you actually have: the car, the office, travel, the gap between a session and dinner. Swallow them with water and you're done. Keep eating a protein-rich diet alongside it.

How do I take it?

Follow the dosing chart on the product page: 6 tablets a day for everyday health, 8–12 a day on training days, and 12–18 a day for performance and recovery. Take them together or split them across the day. On training days the chart is 2 tablets on waking, 4 before your session and 2 after, adding 4 before bed on heavier days.

Is there anything I should check first?

Recov is made from porcine (pig) plasma protein, so it isn't suitable for vegans or vegetarians, for halal or kosher diets, or for anyone with a mammalian meat allergy. If you manage a health condition or take prescription medication, check with your doctor or pharmacist before adding Recov or any other supplement.

What does it cost?

A 180-tablet bottle is $119.95 as a one-time order, or from $79.95 a bottle on Subscribe & save, which takes up to 33% off. Shipping is free Australia-wide on orders over $99, and you can pause or cancel a subscription anytime.
